Cloud Client Workspace was likely one of the most complicated campaigns I worked on at Dell. It was a complex and difficult group of systems/abilities to wrap your head around. A granular subject matter and device family made my boss take out the less-seasoned writer (I was in charge of the site pages at this time) and pull me in as the head writer for the entire project. The restructuring put me in charge of the campaign that consisted of five videos and seven site pages in total. Not only did we have a re-kick-off because of some disorganization, we had a lay-off towards the end, which ended up affecting all of the other creatives on the project except for me. Despite being hectic from the start, this was my first time using Volume and sound stages and the rendering of custom-built 3D animated environments with a technology called Stage Craft. Films like The Mandalorian and Dune have used this tech that works by using a massive and continuous floor-to-ceiling LED-lit screen behind a basic set. I also picked the music for this track, and I’m proud of how well it works and adore the little “Let’s go” at the end.
